1980: "Sure you can have a 10MB Hard Drive, just give us your house, your car, your first-born, etc."

 

Plus:

"Oh we forgot to tell you that if you MOVE your computer or bump it in any way while it is running the hard drive crashes immediately!"


I actually know someone who did this but the loss was little.
