The color DVD was utter junk...worst thing I ever saw
but the B&W 1st season DVD had good picture quality.
BLU-RAY Lost In Space is a bird of a different feather entirely:

Put "lost in space" in the search engine box for this page & you'll see a lot.
I have been watching this damn show since 1965 & have never seen better
clarity than that available in the LIS blu-ray.
Even Star Trek & all other 60s sci-fi does not look this clear with the exception
of 2001: A Space Odyssey but that movie was shot in 70mm so it has a big headstart
in the area of clarity to begin with.
